However, she does have certain problems... mainly pertaining to people. She is already engaged and is the only girl who has a possesive parent-like figure dominating over her. This person will cause some problems during your courtship, so beware.

Yes there are a few heart events that tell you she is engaged. It doesn't say who the guy is, but it isn't Marlin, because he is her dad.

Marlin is not her dad.
Marlin is Vesta's brother.
But in the O-miai cutscene, Celia says that she will not marry the guy.
So she's not engaged........ she refused to marry him.

Yes Marlin is her dad, because of one of the heart events, he is mad at Jack for flirting with Celia, he tells you that she is engaged to another man.

Read the official AWL book.(you know, the little book that comes with the game when you buy it) In Marlin's description, it says that he's Vesta's younger brother and he has a crush on Celia. So he is NOT her father. He has a crush on Celia, so I don't think that he's her father, huh  |
