I'm willing to give it a chance, but I do hope that we are given the option to move the ads back to their previous position

Yes, I dislike it as well. Another site I used to hang out at also had ads inbetween posts. There is an option if you want to remove the ads, but you need to pay a little extra cash to do it. But the free membership to the site, you are stuck with seeing the ads.

I can understand Google and others with the ads,, but there are better places. But the ads help this be free, so....
