In HM64, yes he doesn't have a home and is considered a hobo. But in FOMT he does rent a room at the Inn, so in that game he shouldn't be considered a hobo, since he has a home of sorts.

but he did live in the builder's shack; you can find him there on rainy days. if he didn't have a home, wouldn't he just stay in the cave?
