a word of advice though, make sure to save up as much money as you can while you're wating for the "Big Bed".

I wondered for like a month how to get that bed ^^;;; Then I finally resigned myself to GameFaqs and felt a rather noticable lack of braincells in me XD

You don't have to upgrade your house completely to get married but I think it's 2 hours extentions in order to marry her. You can still get more, at least I think you can.
