Yup! It's called the Fall Harvest Orchard! I did the following: *fed cows (ears of corn. They would tug them out of your hand and it was so funny!) *fed goats (some sort of grain I think. They didn't say...) *petted 3 little ducklings *held a baby goat, petted a lot! *rode a wagon ride where I got some flower-y thingies, popcorn (a type of corn, not popped corn.) and gourds. *got a 24 lb pumpkin ( ) I'm going to carve (very heavy!) I also was allergic to on of the flower-y thingies and got some bug-bite size welts on my hand as an allergic reaction. Luckily, it went away as soon as I washed my hands (which I did right away). It made me think of HM, ecspecially with chickens running all around. Kinda like Jill when her chickens are loose. XP

I used to live on a farm. And be surrounded by farms. And a lot of my friends lived on farms.
....yeah. The glories of small farm-town life.
But it sounds like you had fun! Which is totally awesome. ^^

heh, farm's are fun to visit.
the relatives i babysit for live on a farm (sort of- they don't sell their stuff), so i've been there a lot. yep, they have a ton of chickens, two cows (well, they used to- they sold them to a butcher or whatever D:) and three or four horses. not to mention their adorable barn kitties. *_* oh, yeah, and lots of crops.
yep, farms are awesome.

That sounds like you had a lot of fun. I live half a minute (literally) away from a dairy farm.

My friend Brett's stepdad used to keep some chickens and other stuff. Brett, his brothers, my brother and I used to gather eggs, feed the chickens and ducks, and (Brett and I) used wiffle bats beat the crap out of this psychotic rooster that always used to attack Brett for some reason. The last time that it attacked him, his stepdad put a hole clean through it with a shotgun, and then threw it in the deep freezer. That thanksgiving, they ate what was left of it along with the turkey. Anyway, apparently his stepdad lost interest in the coop over the years (it was just something he did for fun, he's a machinist by trade) and sold the few birds that were left (they got this retarded yellow lab when Brett and I were in the 4th grade that killed a bunch of them). I saw the coop about a year ago when my dad was visiting with him, and it was still there. However, the door was coming off the hinges, the wire was shredded, the roof ws sagging, and the entire place was overrun with weeds. It was sad to see it in such lousy shape, but at the same time, it reminded me of everything the Ledbetters and I used to do together. I've been thinking lately that maybe this is why I got into HM, it reminds me of a simpler time, when Brett and I were so close. Over the years (especially in high school) he got involved with sports and the social scene, and I.... well, by know you know what I'm like, so we didn't see each other much except at school. But playing Harvest Moon games (especially AWL, since it had roosters ) let me recall those times that I remembered so fondly.
