I just found out my cat, who my mom got before I was born, died this morning. I've had him all my life and I know he was old and he's in a better place, but it's just so sad. My Grandma died recently too, and I really think that someone up there is angry at me.

Aww. I'm really sorry to hear that. It's hard to lose pets.

*hugs* It's not your fault.. the cat lived a long happy life. It is really hard to lose the ones you love though.. at least you didn't lose them early on in their life.. it was the kitty's time.. I know I lost my kitty easter night (I found it dead Easter morning).. I was devastated. I guess it's just a part of life. And knowing that you've had that kitty for so long, I'm sure he was happy and healthy by your side. He just... couldn't hold on much longer. Kitties don't normally live further than 14 years. You had a good companion.

I know how you feel... My grandparents dog had to be put down recently from old age. She was also around before i was born, so I practically grew up with her. Just remember that your cat lived a long, happy life.
