Regis is Batman! Have you ever seen Batman and Regis in the same place? Plus, Batman must be rich. How else could he afford all his Bat-gear?

The turnips you grow in HM are the same turnips that Joan sells in Animal Crossing

I was going to have a theory for Xion, but Nomaru's own is better then any I could come up with.

Pineapples are actually made of gold! Why else would they sell for 500g a piece?

Pineapples are actually made of gold! Why else would they sell for 500g a piece? Actually for a fanfic, I once figured out a rough conversion rate for HM gold to American dollars: 1g equals about 1 cent. So that would make a Pineapple worth about $5; the grocery store I work at sells them for $4.99, so it's pretty close. It's not a perfect conversion rate; there are some things that would be ridiculously cheap or outrageously expensive if it were, but for the most part it works.

Sooo...new theory: you're actually mining synthetic gems in HM.

All the shipping bins on the island are connected by a tube system, similar to what you see at banks! (ToT)

The various Harvest Goddesses are all magically connected and the events of MM, HM:DS/Cute and ToT all happen at about the same time.
I haven't put too much thought into this theory. I'm just getting annoyed by the constant repetition of the "OMG SAVE THE HARVEST GODDESS BECAUSE SHE'S TURNED TO STONE, DISAPEARED OR TURNED TO STONE AND THEN DISAPEARED" plot, so I thought if thet all shared some magical link it might explain things better...

Yeah....
I haven't played MM, but ToT IS a little repetitive. At least they tried to make it a bit more original than the DS games...

I know! I mean, I'm of the opinion that HM games don't really need a plot, but if they have to have one, can't we get a new one?
