Carrying cell phones, Ipods, CD players, and guns (Rifles are an exception) are illigal in any Harvest Moon village.

Do cell phones and iPods even exist in the HM world? Technology is so screwy in the games. They have TVs and DVD players, but you listen to music on record players. You don't have tractors to plow the fields, but you have a device that can instantly turn milk into butter. You can count the number of automobiles you see on one hand. I say the plot for thye Next Harvest Moon should be like a realtity show. Wasn't there a reality show a few years ago about a farmer who had to choose a wife from a bunch of contestants?

Yes, I think it was called the simply life and the flew in a bunch of beauty queens or something and they had to learn to live on a farm. We should apply this to Harvest Moon!

No, that's not the one I'm thinking of. It was like The Bachelor, only on a farm.

Pierre: Now, what would his hair look like under the hat? Would it look like THIS: They are related. Have to be.

Ann and Cliff's relationship in HM64He says he as to "face the music". Kind of an odd choice of words for a groom to be. And why isn't he wearing a suit? Was there not time for him to find one? But why didn't Doug or Gray loan him one? The marriage is unhappy: Barely a month later, Ann and Cliff announce they're having a baby. Ann...seems less than pleased: Mm-hm, sure you guys. Ann just learned she's pregnant. I believe you. #indifferent160ac# And Doug is in denial: My theory: They had a shotgun wedding!Ann got knocked up, but neither is truly happy, but they are trapped in a loveless marriage. I...i kinda disturbed myself with this one, you guys.

I heard this theory about Chase being the son of Pierre and Natalie. Same violet eyes and passion for cooking of Pierre and same hair color as Natalie. Just something I heard...

Every hero in every game is the star of a Truman Show-esque reality program.
Think about it, it would explain so much:
-Why he/she can never leave town.
-Why the town rarely, if ever, has any visitors or new residents.
-Why there are a set number of eligible bachelors/bachelorettes, they're all paid actors that the writers chose.
-Why so much supernatural stuff is going on
-How your crops and animals, as long as you follow the rules, always turn out okay. Diseases are always curable, and crops don't die if you neglect them
-For the most part, everyone gets along
-Almost everything revolves around the hero
I'm sure there are more that I'm not even thinking of.

I was wondering earlier why the Harvest Goddess doesn't appear in Grand Bazaar. If you notice, there is a small pond near the Mayor's House that certainly looks like a HG pond, but you can't make offerings.
My theory is that Grand Bazaar takes place at the same time as DS/DS Cute and the HG doesn't appear in GB because she's frozen in stone.

My theory is that Grand Bazaar takes place at the same time as DS/DS Cute and the HG doesn't appear in GB because she's frozen in stone. Expanding on this: the reason the HG won't clear the tunnel between Bluebell and Konohana herself is that she's still weak after being frozen in stone.
