So yeah, what was the last book, you've read and rate it.
Last Book you read: The boy in the dress Author: David Walliams Plot: Dennis is a boy who likes wearing clothes for girls. Out of ten: 10/10 Opinion: Hilarious, it has a simple style of writing because it's located for kids but it has got some funny moments on there. Pretty well written.

Last book I read was Why We Suck: A Feel Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy, and Stupid By Dr. Dennis Leary. It's a satirical book where Dennis bashes pretty much every aspect of America that sucks. From Britney Spears to overweight whiners who want everything handed to them, he produces scathing facts about anything you can think of, and makes it all hilarious at the same time. He even throws in some stories of his own childhood, teen years, and college days to make you see how much we've really become a big fat pit of pitiful children. I recommend this to anyone who can take a good ribbing, and laugh at how much of it you see is true. Definitely not recommended for whiny brats who get offended if you criticize them.
What I'm reading right now is The Magic of Recluce, which I'll write my opinion about probably sometime next week when I'm finished.

Sunshine Author: Robin McKinley Plot: In an alternate universe where demons mix in with the culture and vampires are more closer to the 30 days of Night time Twilight, a baker takes a drive one night to relax, but instead is capture as a snack or a sacrifice.
BTW, I saw the movie Fight Club. Did it do the book justice?

Kind of. Some things were added, some things were taken away. The usual book to movie.

I decided to see what all the fuss was about and read Twilight for myself. It wasn't horrible and I genuinely enjoyed the first third or so of the book. I liked the writing style and narration, it was easy to read.
But...after a while it got old. I'm not going to list all the things I disliked about Twilight, since you've heard them all before. I do think a lot of the complaints against it are vaild.
Still I enjoyed it, though the last two-thirds were more of a guilty pleasure.

Haunted by Chuck Palahinuk. It was about a bunch of people who get tricked into a survior like senario. It was pretty messed up. But I liked it. It's NOT for the squemish.

The last book I read was Enchanted by Orson Scott Card. However, I'm only roughly 10 pages in, obviously not enough to rate it. Instead, I'll go with the last book I finished.
Title: Lost Author: Gregory Maguire Plot: If I can condense the plot to its most basic skeleton, it's about this writer named Winifred who currently obsessed in her new book about the ghost of Jack the Ripper. Rate: 6.5/10 Opinion: At first glance, it sounds really interesting; who doesn't love Jack the Ripper? But it goes from suspenseful and good, to 'that's [not in a good way] weird', to unexpectedly stupid, to down the drain. Although it, supposedly, had a theme, it wasn't apparent. And the story, because it was told partly through Winifred's writings, was very choppy. Lost was a let down.

Title: Deerskin Author: Robin McKinley (Again) Plot: A retelling of the Fairy Tale of Donkeyskin/The King who Wished to Marry His Daughter, among several other stories. Rate: 10/10 Opinion: If you do not like dogs or Princess stories or craziness, this isn't a story you should read. But I found it very beautiful, even if at parts the story was cruel and disturbing. But I loved Lissar "Deerskin" and Ash. It's not fast pace, but for the story, it runs smooth.

Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes.
He is also my inspiration to become a writer.
