Hummingbird by LaVyrle Spencer Abigal is a spinster who is running low on money. When a pair of men are wounded in train robbing incident, she agrees to nurse them back to health as a way tobearn money. One of the men, Jesse, is a suspect in the robbery. Spoiler, he's innocent and actually owns a large share in the railroad. Abigal is torn between the men. David is gentle and good, but Jesse is very passionate. Unfortunately, David is a poorly written character, so there isn't any real suspense. Jesse is better written and he and Abigal have a lot of chemistry, but while the point of the book is that you can't choose who you love, it really, really seems more like Jesse and Abigal have more lust than love. Also, there's a weird bit when they make love and Jesse compares Abigal's skin to warm custard pudding I don't really recommend it. I guess if you found it cheap somewhere and you like cheesy, predictable romance novels, it might be worth a read.

The last novel I read was Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma. The book gave me so much feels. The incest was done very well and the emotions were really great. It's a very sad book, but one I would recommend.

I'm a Stranger Here Myself by Bill Bryson
This book was released back in 1999. Mr. Bryson had lived in England for twenty years and returned to his homeland with his wife and kids. This is a collection of some of his observations that were written for a newspaper collum that he made. The observations are very funny.

The last book I read was The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. I've always been a fan of TLOTR's so I finally decided to give it a go. It's been a few months now though. ^^
