I'm extremely confused with my HM:DS file.
I read on Ushi No Tane that chickens and ducks being die at 5 years old, sheep being 6 and cows being 7.. or something of the sort.
I was playing my uber awesome file, remembering that I had passed through a lot of years and decided to take a look.
My oldest chicken was purchased Winter year 1. Thing is though... I'm in year 7. It's almost 6 years old? Or almost 7? Wasn't it supposed to be around 5 it dies?
Any of you have this problem? What should I do?

I think that most animals can live one more year then they normally would die.

Hai Border, long time no see. =P
I suppose that could be. It's almost it's birthday.. well date of purchase.. so I should probably sell it soon so people don't lose FPs and such when it dies.

This may be a bit old, but...
In some of the games, I know the "Death Year" just means you start rolling a chance of them dying each morning when you get up. So sell it, or you might be able to save and reset the event to keep it from happening. No guarantees though.
