Harvest moon Fanfic : Adventures in Waffle Town...

I started writting a fanfic... i know my grammer isn't good but anyways it has no title i just started writing and i want to see what you guys think



Sasha
Sometimes people wonder why they where put on earth. Like why where they born… some children in my world are born to help out on the farm… some are born to save the harvest goddess. Others are there to save there town land. Well my name is Sasha. I’m about 14 years old. I am not your typical 14 year old. I was send away on an important mission by my mother and father. I was send to Waffle Town in order to save the land.


I’m a bit different then other children, its not just because I have this special job. I also have special powers, well special powers to see harvest spirits is what I inhearited from my mother Noelle. But I inherit the most powerful magic from my dad. Yes I’m half wizard. I don’t know what made my mom fall in love with my dad named Gale, but then again I don’t usually question that otherwise I wouldn’t be here.


Anyways I was send away on this important mission I don’t know why I was picked and how my mom convinced my dad to let his youngest daughter to go over seas. I have an older brother named Andrew hes about 16 years old. My parents told me they couldn’t send him since he was needed on the farm..


The farm… I miss it, it was quiet a run down place when my mom first came there. She said the mayor had trick her… funny our family seems to have a lot of being tricked into running farm. My uncle Ragana… well I don’t know but I heard that he had like 2 farms at once… thanks to Aunt Mist.

I’m leaning over the boat… looking in the water… sometimes I wish I could be a fish. Just to be able to swim threw the water and be free. But I have a job to do.


Pasaul

I usually see a whole range of people pass on my boat but something made me think mysteriously about Gale and Noelle choice to send Sasha away to a new town to live in. She seems so young for the age of 10. It seemed kind of sad that she gave up her childhood to save this land. It seems a bit much to put on a child.


The radio buzzed “ High Storms in front of waffle island please no docking until”

The boat slams against the hard waves I grab the wheel to try and turn it but the boat wacks the passengers around I manage to grab Sasha and breath over her unconscious body..


Sasha

Oww my head really hurts why is all black?... I think to myself I hear my name being called “ Sasha”



Jin

She looked in pretty rough shape I kept opening her I lids to see into her eyes to see she if she was responsive. Sasha wake up please. She opens her eyes


“ Oww, where am i?” She trys to get up I push her down on the bed

“ Your in Coral Clinic , in Waffle town, you have a pretty bad bump on your head, I’m Dr. Jin”

“ Dr jin?” She says confused laying down in the bed

She then looks at me in a weird way “ Thanks for taking care of me”

Sasha

When I met Dr. Jin he seemed kind of smart an intelligent, plus his green outfit looked awesome anyways, he was very nice looking and was very polite.


I never knew I could look at someone like that. Until his son came in.


“Dad mom wants to know when your coming home for dinner”

“ Tell your mom I’m with a patient right now”


He turns to me and looks “ Hi my names Van”


He looks kind of cute I then blurt out my name “ My names Sasha, and well I’m coming to live on the farm anyways I’m feeling much better and I got to go see the mayor… thanks so much Dr.Jin for talking care of me”


I jump off the bed and go over to the town hall.

I creak in the door open.


Gill

I hear the door creak open. “ for the 1000 time Vivian your not going to that dance I don’t care what boys are going to be there”

I hear a faint voice say “ Hello, I’m not Vivian, my name is Sasha I’m suppose to met your father Hamilton?”


I look up from my desk and see a girl not a bit older then my Vivian standing there with a bag full of stuff.

I study her then ask “ You the new farmer?”

She looks down at her clothes and her bag “ I guess so could you tell me where the mayor is?”


I look down at my desk and cry a bit.

She is now standing in front of my desk “ I’m sorry I didn’t want to make you cry”

I look up “ It’s ok my dad died a few years back so if your looking for the Mayor it would be me”


“ Oh “ She says as she walks back and takes a seat
I pull out a pen and papper “ Tell me about yourself?”



She leans back and starts to tell me her life story.

“ Well my name is Sasha, I’m about 14 years old. I was born in Harp clinic. My parents are named Noelle and Gale. I was send her by my parents and the harvest goddess to save your town.”


I write it all down as she talking I’m quiet shocked about her responsiblities all my Vivian cares about are cute boys. So I stand up and shake her hand

“ Welcome to Waffle town, I’ll show you to your farm but its not ready yet I have to get Dale to build you your house so in the mean time you’ll be staying on Souffle farm. So I’ll get Vivian to take you there. “


Sasha

He grabs the phone and dials a number the next thing I know the door flys open “ Daddy if I show this dead beat the Stoffle farm will you let me go to that dance?”

I turn around I see a girl not much older then me, she seems a bit snoobish “ I be that dead beat your talking about”



Vivian

I turn to see this meak voice talking to me I turn around and see this smelly farming girl staring at me she seems so lost in fashion sense.

So I say “ Hello my name is Vivian and I’m waiting for my chance to be mayor”


She sticks out her hand and shakes “ My names Sasha”



Sasha

We leave the town hall and go down some stairs and we cross into a new part of the island and when were almost at stoffle farm I see a man banging rocks . “ I walk over to go say hello”

Vivian gets in my way “ Hey Sasha, I don’t who you think you are but you are not going for him hes mine understand”


I walk back “ Um we don’t own people Vivian…”


Vivian snorts at me “ Well if I ever catch you socializing with him your dead you understand?” Shes pushes in me the mud picks me up and says

“ if anyone asks you fell enjoy your life at this ranch”


Van


“ Ok mom has that?” My mom looks over and sees my work


“ Great job Van…” She cramps up

“ Mom are you ok “ as I run over and make sure shes ok.

“ Mom you should really have dad check you out” She kisses my forehead

“ I love you Van, your so much like your father” Sudden the door flings open

“ Hi” I look over and see Sasha shes covered in mud


I run over “ Hey sasha what happened? “

She blunted states “ I fell, um is there any where I can change into clothes that are less muddy?”

I pick up her bag and show her to one of the guest rooms “ Dinner is at 8 pm if you want to join us”


Sasha

I’m taken by the fact he wants me to join his family for dinner “ Um sure thanks I’ll make sure I’m ready by then… um do you have a bathroom”


He says “ Two door down to your left I’ll see you for dinner”


I bow to thank him for his kindness and I turn to my wardrobe and pick out a nice dress and some undergarments and I walk down the hall way to the bathroom. I start the shower. Reminds me of the rain storms back home.



Gale

I look out the window see the rain fall … Noelle comes up from behind me .”You miss her? “

I turn and look at Noelle shes gotten all wrinkling from when we first married “ Yeah I do I never thought I could have such a strong emotional connection to people.’

Noelle kisses me on the cheek “ Its call love honey you just never felt it before because you where never with the right person” She shows me the photo of when Sasha was first born she was so cute wrapped up in her pink blanket.


Noelle comes around and says “ Andrew needs your help delivering a cow tomorrow will you help him?”

I nod “ I’ll help”


She kisses me “ well I’m going to get some sleep now good night”

Noelle been going to bed early everyday since Sasha left. I guess she misses her too but doesn’t really want to say anything.


Sasha

I finish up the shower dry my hair and put on my dress I walk into the dinning room to see the table I set up.


“ It looks lovely”

Van’s grandmother turns up and says “ Thank you I’m glad you like it.”


She sits down at the table. Van comes up and says “ Sasha your going to sit at the head of the table since your our guest tonight. My father should be home soon”

Next thing I know the door flys open and Jin comes threw the door “ Hi honey it smells great” He kisses Van’s mom on the cheek.

She laughs and says “ Honey we have a guest today its Sasha the new farmer she going to help my dad out tmrw when he comes back from the seed show”


Jin “ I’ve met this young lady before she was at my clinic earlier anyways welcome to my home Sasha this is my wife Anissa and I hope your comfortable here till your new house is built I suggest you go talk to Dale tomorrow about our house it usually takes a few days and with all the crisis I’m pretty sure Gill forgot.”

[Butterscotch]

I think it's an Animal Parade/Tree of Tranquility cross-over? If that's true, that's a pretty neat idea.

I also found the constant PoV changes to be a bit distracting, especially towards the end. I had trouble remembering who was the narrator. I'd really consider sticking with just one PoV, or just switching less frequently.

Of the different narrators, Sasha's is the most distinct. You seem to have a pretty good feel for her. I feel bad for the poor kid. I hope things work out okay for her.

Lol yeah i keep changing the point of view since i like... it in the first person it kind of reminds me of the writing of my sister keeper. Yeah i know it was a bit confusion but i thought it work.... i guess its just with people.

[Angel]

Jin “ I’ve met this young lady before she was at my clinic earlier anyways welcome to my home Sasha this is my wife Anissa and I hope your comfortable here till your new house is built I suggest you go talk to Dale tomorrow about our house it usually takes a few days and with all the crisis I’m pretty sure Gill forgot.”

Well I sat there and ate there and ate all the food I then asked “ Are you guys vegetarians?”


Van looks at me “ No its just no one has been able to break the rock blocking the path to the animal farm and we haven’t been able to get meat.. Also the boats not running right now Um can I please be excused?”


Anissa nods “ Go a head Van”

Van gets up from the table and scraps his plate. “ Good night everyone”


He walks out the room and I hear his bedroom door slam.

I jump to the sound of the door slam “ Was it something I said?”

Jin looks down at his plate rolling his cabbage “ No its just Van was instructed by the Mayor to um try and save the goddess tree, but he worked really hard at it and wasn’t able to save the tree so hes kind of depressed. Then when the mayor got sick and he couldn’t mix the medicine to save him… he just really thinks that all the bad stuff that has happened because he wasn’t able to save the goddess tree.”


“ Oh” I say as a push my food around

“ Im kind of tired so I think I’m going to turn in early as well,thanks you so much for the food” I get up and scrap my plate

I turn around “ Good night” I bow and go to the guest room.


I sit in my room and take a picture out of my suitcase I see it’s a picture of me and my brother when we where younger, in our pumpkin festival costumes , that was the day aunt Mist send us our costumes from over seas we dress up as the popular spring vegetable of turnips after we came home our mom cooked the turnips it was really good.

I turn off the light… and pat my pillow down and fall a sleep.


Gale

The sun shine broke threw the darkness and the rooster crowed the farm was already awake though, with the new arrival coming any time soon the whole down was waiting to know if we had a bull or a cow on our hands.

My son wakes me up “ Good morning dad here I made you some hot coffee”

I smell the coffee its smells like the coffee that I used to make before I married Noelle.

My son turns to me “ Dad, why we move from Harmonic town?, I thought you loved it there.”

I turned to him and cleared my throut “ We needed to move to help Uncle Jack and well that farm was making me and your mother miss your sister too much”


Andrew

As I looked at my dad looking sadly into his coffee I piked up “ Dad you know um theres a goddess festival coming up maybe you should call Luna and see if she could make a dress for mom”


He looks at me “ Andrew that’s a great idea”



Sasha


“ Sasha please save me “

I wake up and go out in the hall still in my pajamas, I walk into Anissa

She falls on the ground “ I’m sorry”

She looks up at me “ I’m sorry good morning I didn’t see you nice pajamas something I can help you with?”

I look at here “ You didn’t happen to hear a voice right?”

She looks at me funny “ Did It sound kind of weak and… like the person was asking for your help?”


I nod

Anissa then turns to me “ That must have been the harvest goddess shes been trapped for a long time you’re the one who going to save her “

I look at Anissa with this dumbfounded look on my face. Me the hero? I shake my head and ask “ Um where is Dale’s carpenter shop?”

She looks at me “ Its down the way it’s the last building on the right “


I bow and say “ Thanks Anissa, “

I walk down the hall way toward the bathroom take another warm shower and turn off the taps and put on my clothes.


I head out the door . I walk past the black smith the guy I saw the other day is there hammering away I walk up to him “ Hi”


Roy

I hear a small little hi come from someone I look up and I see the most beautiful girl standing there I stop hammering.

“ Hey” Hey? What the hell am I thinking that’s no way to talk to lady

“ My names Roy, yours?”


She studders and says “ my names Sasha I kind of just moved here”

I grab her hand and shake it “ I’ve heard of you so, um… do you have a hammer?”

Stupid question .. I can’t believe I just asked it.

She laughs and say “ No but I really do need one know anywhere that sells one?”

I love her scarcasm “ Here I tell her um you can have my old one”


I see her go all wide eyed on me but she graceful takes my hammer and puts it her ruggsack

“ Thanks “ she tips her hat off to me… and countinues on her way. My dad yells “ Roy you done with those ores yet”

“ Not yet Pa”


Sasha

I walk further down the path and this girl runs into me .

“ HIIIIII” She screams in my ear…


“ You look new I’ve never seen you before!, You smell funny…. Hehe where going to be best of friends” She hugs me.

I push her off me “ I don’t mean to be rude but who are you?”

She lets go “ I’m sorry I don’t mean to be so rude! But I like new people my name is… LUCY! That’s spelled L-U-C-Y. Anyways I love bandanas do you like bandanas if you do where going to be best of friends” She grabs my arm


“I’m going to show you my collection um…”

“ Sasha “ I say

“ ON WARD TO MY BANDANA COLLECTION!” Drags me on the arm to inside the carpenters’ shop”


Luke

I’m working on a chair for Gill about to cut when I hear the door swing open.

“DADDY” I bump my head… when getting up

“ Lucy how many times do …” I stop mid sentence to see she has someone by the arm.



I look at Lucy “ Lucy how many times have I told you not to harass the neighbors” Lucy lets go of her arm

“ Sorry daddy”


Her guest seems to be rubbing her arm “She says hi are you Dale?”


I look at her “ Nope that be my father but hes away on business something about a house for a new farmer”

She giggles “ I guess he did get the memo then I’m Sasha I’m the new farmer. Anyways do you know how long it take for my house to be ready?”

I ponder “ Well since we don’t get much work around this time of year it should be ready by tommorow, my uncle Gotz is a wizard when it comes to the saw. Anyways what can I do you for? I can do any job as long as you supply the lumber.”

She looks down “ Since I don’t have an axe… I guess you can’t really help me out so much “


“ Hold on to that thought” I look behind the counter and find my old axe

“ Here you can have this!”

Sasha

I see him holding out a run down beat axe in front of me I say “ Thank you.Um so any chance you can take me to where my new home might be?”

He looks at me “ Nope the construction site is way to dangerous “


The phone starts to ring he picks it up “ Hello Dale’s Woodshop Luke speaking how may I help you?, Uh hun, Ok I’ll tell her thanks for calling good bye”

He hangs up the phone “ That was Anissa apparently Craig and Taylor are back from the seed show and they want to met with you”

I nod to him “ Thanks I’ll shall be on my way”

Lucy stops me “ Wait!”

She hands me a green colour bandana “ This matches your shirt”

I put it on and tie it over my hair “ How does it look?”

Luke and Lucy laugh at me “ Very nice, they both say”

“ Thanks for all the help and the free bandana” I walk out the door.

[Angel]

I come outside and Roy approches me. He rubs the back of his head and well blushes and asks.


Roy “ Theres going to be a harvest goddess festival coming up and well I was wondering do you want to go?”


I look at Roy hes pretty much gorgous and well I say “ I would glad go to the goddess festival with you.”

Roy lets out this side of relieve “ Thanks I was afaird you where going to say no, anyways I’ll pick you up in the morning of the Goddess Festival and then we will head to mineral town”


I bow and countinue on my way to the stoffle farm and well I run into this handsome lad. “ I’m sorry I didn’t see where I was going “


He turns around and looks at me “ Sorry I keep looking the sky see if I can see rain clouds, hey you wouldn’t happen to be the new farmer?”

I look at him and say “ Yup, I’m guessing your Taylor?”

He smiles and says “ Yup just don’t wear my name out you hear, I’m suppost to teach you how to farm do you got a hoe and a watering can?”

I look threw my rugsack “ Yup”

He nods “ Ok this is how you hoe” He grabs my hoe and starts to put it on the ground and pulls it towards him to make the dirt pull up.

“ Then you put your seed in” He places the seed in and covers the ground up with the dirt

“ Then you water it, if you water it everyday then the fruit will grow depending on the quality of the soil it grow faster. After its done you can harvest it and ship it.. The shipment usually gets picked up around… 5 pm each day”

I nod “ Thanks Taylor”


I go to head inside and come inside and Anissa is the only one home….

Chapter 10: The moral panic


I go to head inside and come inside and Anissa is the only one home….

“ Hello Anissa” I say as I walk in the door . She turns and looks at me clunches her stomach and falls down

“Anissa!” I scream as I run over to catch her. I then hold the weight of Anissa up and yell

“VAN!”


Van

I was just about to walk into the door of the house when I heard Sasha screaming my name frankaticly. I kicked the door in to come into the main store area and I see Sasha sobbing on the floor holding my mother.

I get down on the floor and say “ What happened?”

Sasha between sobbing “ I just said hello and then she grabbed her stomach and passed out”

Shoot It’s the thing mom’s complaining about I promised her I wouldn’t say this to dad but this is the way to complicated for me to solve I need to get her to the clinic.


I turned to Sasha “ Sasha can you go find Roy I need his help to be able to get my mom to the clinic”

Sasha passes me my mom gentel and runs out the door I hear the door bang as she runs out.


Sasha

I run towards the blacksmiths and yell “ Roy!” Im out of breath breathing heavily.


Roy looks at me “ Hey Sasha whats up?”


I turned to him “ I need your help , well more Van needes it he needs you to help carry his mom to the clinic.”


He looks at me “ Show me the way “ He follows behind me as I run back to Stoffel farm

He comes inside Stoffel farm…ok here I’ll help carry her.

Van “ Be careful this isn’t just some ore this is my mother…”

Van and Roy grab both sides of Annisa and lift her up . I grab the door and swing open we then make our journey to Coral Clinic .


Jin

I’m sitting at my desk look threw the health town records the clinic is closed today but I thought I come in and organize stuff then I hear a loud bang at the door.


“DAD!! Open up its an emegerncy ” I jumped out my chair and went to unlock the Clinic to see my wife passed out in the hands of Roy and Van… Sasha is with them… I yell “ Annisa” and grab her and put her on the bed


I ask “what happened?” Sasha comes up to me and tells me what happened van also whispers something into her ear


Sasha “ I came inside to get a drink of water Anissa clenched her stomach and passed out to the ground”


I then see my son clench up and run out of the room I erge Sasha to go talk to him.

Cute Chapter

Chapter 11: The crush of the heart

Sasha

Jin nudges at me to go talk to Van outside so I go and sit outside the clinic. “ Hey can I sit?” He puts his hand down on the step and gives me the ok to sit.

“ So how long have you know?” I ask him as I sit down. He turns to me.

Van “ I’ve know for a while I know I shouldn’t keep sercerts from my dad but my mom told me not to tell him it break his heart . Now keeping a promise to my mom probably is going to kill her.”

I pat his back “ Van , its not your fault…. Maybe your mom wanted to protect you as well maybe she scared too”

Van turned to me and said “ Yeah I guess. Do you think my Dad might not be mad at me?”


I looked at him “ No he be more mad at your mom for trying to keep this secret from him. “

He smiles then asks “ Do you want to go to the goddess festival with me?”

I turn and look at him “ Sure I just have to cancel with someone else.”

He smiles really huge “ Thanks Sasha”

He goes back into the clinic . I start to head back up to Stoffel farm. I run into Roy.


“ Hey Roy can we talk?”

Roy “ Sure whats bugging you.”


“ Well … “ I say “ As much as I like to go to the the goddess festival with you I think you should ask Vivian she really likes you”


Roy slicks his hair back and says “ Really? I never knew Vivian would like an average non rich guy like me”


I laugh “ I think its your muscles and your sort of sweet personality”


Roy blushes “ Thanks”



I walk off and smile back at him I know Vivian would be happy that she gets to go with a guy she really likes .

Chapter 13: The Festival of the flower and Family


Sasha

The week of the festival seemed to go by quickly . It was finally the day of the goddess festival. I was standing on the pedestal looking into the mirror of the most glorious dress.The flowers on the dress smelled wonderful.



I heard someone lightly tab on the door. Come in.


It was Van.


“ Hey the carriage is here” He kind of paused for a moment. Blushed then said

“ You look beautiful” He stuck out his hand and helped me down off the pedestal

We went outside of the farm and the carriage was decorated with flowers the horse had its tail braided with flowers in-between the cross of its fine hair.


Van helped me up into the carrage he then climbed in himself . Annissa and Jin climbed into the carriage behind us Ruth and Craig climbed on the seat in front of the carriage.


Craig pulls on the rains and starts the carriage off. The horses nah and start their trought . I lean back. Into the cushioned seat and just feel the the wheels turn on the rocky path


I stare at the window as the scenary went by it was beautiful day I looked at my dress and wonder of what would m parents think of me I had only been gone for a few weeks but I was already in love with the town I was in. I hope they wouldn’t pull me away because I was really starting to call this town home. Van was staring out of the other carriage window he pointed out the window and said “ Look”


I poked my head out of the window and saw the sign saying welcome to Mineral town and there was a sign stuck on their that said Flower festival.
