Harvest Moon games, especially the older ones, are notorious for their poor translations. While many dislike them, I always kinda thought the Engrish added a certain charm to the games.
My favorites are the Sopha, Zack's random Japanese and Anger Jake in FoMT. I also like Popuri's "Ha ha, cute. Hand, huh?" from 64.

i imagine gray saying that in a valley girl voice. oh my gosh  i used to encounter a lot of that in the n64 version and the harvest moon boy & girl. i'mma gonna play hm b&g to find more. huzzah! |

Ah, at least it was just engrish, the few italian translations are so poor... In DS you have a whole even (The one with hugh and Kate by the goddess's pond) untraslated and many other things that make no sense whatsoever XD can't really talk about english, thought, I understand it but I'm not so good to actually complain about english translations XD

One thing I have heard (Although how true it is is still unknown) is when Muffy starts yelling "Error" in her dialogue. I saw a picture of her saying that over and over like a cyborg.

Pfft, never had the opportunity to do it, probably because I befriended Muffy in Cute (In the boy version I want to get all rival events and have all girls married) and in DS she still is a purple heart. Oh, but having a italian version maybe I won't have a problem with it.

Won randomly does this in mfomt when I try to play the apple game. I think it means "Yes" and "No". 
 And Gray did this after I was married. And one of my games I purposed to Cliff and he called my character <Palyername>. I'm guessing that was the coding showing up. But was soposed to mean "pLayer name". |
