As you guys may know, there is a powerful hurricane bearing down on the East Coast. I live on the Jersey Shore, right on the water. We may have to evacuate. There are no mandatory evacuations issued right now, but that may change.
I'll try and keep you guys up to date on the situation.

I'm hearing it's supposed to hit you now, hope nothing bad happens. At least it weakened(4 and 5's are NOT to be messed with)but it can still get messy. Here's hoping it all comes out alright.

We were told to evacuate. :/
We're staying at my aunt's house. I have Internet access, but I probably won't be around much anyway

Not to make light of your situation, but have you heard FEMA's warning about internet outages? The "forced interaction" thing?
It's like, are they serious? Do they really think that this is what the people affected are most worried about?

I actually haven't heard about the forced interaction thing.
Anyway, we're all home, safe and sound. We got home yesterday, but we didn't have cable or Internet until a little bit ago.
There actually wasn't much damage in my hometown. A few downed trees and power outages. There wasn't any flooding.

Yup, even Tiny, the mouse. My aunt fosters cats, so she's used to having lots of animals around.
