Does anyone know how to make a outfit for a person from a different planet without looking too Sci-fi,but a little more steam punk?
The character is a guy.

Well, some really retro sci-fi stuff is so out-dated, it ends up almost looking like steampunk, so you could start there?

I don't know...
I was thinking of a more modern-type steam punk kind of look.
With a lot of gadgets, but not too much.
And hair...Hair is a pain to make up.

We don't really have a picture of what's going on in your mind. My best advice would be to do some research on fashion and costumes for yourself, and put something together when you have a clearer picture of what you want it to look like. But then again, I'm the sort of person who'd teach someone to swim by throwing them into a lake.
