You may have noticed this, since they went into affect yesterday afternoon, but here's the official thread about it! The awards are similar to the badges that we used to do back in the day. In fact, most of the current awards are old badges being re-purposed as awards.  If anyone is interested in the old badges, you can find them here. There are different kinds of awards. Currently most of the awards pertain to member rank, but as time goes on different awards will be added. For example, if we have a contest, you'll get an award if you win. If you've been active in the last week or so, you probably already have an award or two.  Feel free to suggest any awards that you'd like to see! |

How do we know what we need to do to earn an award. For those who love to show off a whole bunch, and have something fun to do in the forum.

Awards are given out for various things, reaching a certain post count, writing, drawing, winning contests. The current awards are:  Small Milk Award 0-49 posts  Medium Milk Award 50-99 posts  Large Milk Award 100-299 posts  Gold Milk Award 301-599 posts  Platinum Milk Award 601-999 posts  X Milk Award 1000-4999 posts  Legendary Farmer 5000+ posts  Artist Award post at least one artwork  post at least one story  follow at least one person  completed Step 1  completed step 1 There are also awards for becoming a mod I'm planning on adding a second tier to the Writer and Artist Awards, for more prolific writers and artists, as well as awards based on the How many HM games have you played thread. And in the future, we'll have contests again, and you'll get awards for that. |
