Cliff related to the Witch Princess?

I recently came across a theory that Cliff's (BTN) painful backstory has something to do with the Evil Witch Princess. The way they describe the relation is the photograph Cliff owns. The theorist declared that the picture Cliff owns is the same exact picture the Witch Princess gives you as a gift. Why does both Cliff and Witch Princess have the same picture is quite an odd coincidence. What is even more strange is that the Witch Princess gives you this picture as a gift, could Cliff had gotten his picture from the Witch Princess too? And in that respect, how does this connect Cliff and Witch Princess? Did they have some sort of affair before the events of Back to Nature? And most important, what happened between them?

My thoughts are that I don't feel that Cliff and Witch Princess have any relation to each other. But I do find it odd how Witch Princess has a picture that looks like Cliff. I cannot even use the old "laziness" rule since the game developers had to have made the sprite from scratch. 

Could this be an Easter egg? Or maybe this could be an odd sign that there is more to the hidden story of Harvest Moon than we know. All I know is that the world may never know.



I got the theory from a page from Tumbler, who has collected a series of theories that are non-canon. But this one seems to be the most interesting.
