I have 2 questions about the game.
1 - How do you make a crop have more than 1 star? I have been fertilizing my crops all season long, and they refuse to go up more than 1 star. I fertilize the crops, dump the crop in the seed maker. Get seeds with 1 star. Plant the seeds. Then fertilize the new generation. But the new generations come with only 1 star over and over and over. After 4 generations of crops, the crops and seeds still come with only 1 star. Any ideas?
2 - How do I get the big bed to get married? According to a local guide, I get it from Eileen. But I am in year 3 of the game, and she still won't give me the option to make the bed for me. Any ideas?

I can't help you too much with the first one, since I never got the seed maker. I moved around too much the first few years...
As for the second one...are you friends with Eileen? I think you need to be at around two friendship flowers with her to get the bed request. She likes stones and branches, as well as lumber and material stone, most flowers and perfumes.
