Butter's HG Nuzlocke

I started a Nuzlocke last night too. I'm playing by more traditional Nuzlocke rules

1: if a Pokemon faints, it can no longer be used

2-a: I can only attempt to capture the first Pokemon encountered in an area. If it faints or flees, I'm outta luck

2-b: Shiny Pokemon can be caught regardless of whether or not they are the first encounter, but if they are not the first encounter, they can't be usef.

3: must name all Pokemon

4: rules about captures don't go into effect until I obtain Pokeballs

Late one night, Prof. Elm asked his young neighbor Polly to get a Pokemon egg from Mr. Pokemon. He let her choose a Pokemon for protection and she picked Cyndaquil because it was the cutest.

Polly reached the house with little incident. She and Toasty fought a fee wild Pokemon along the way, but Toasty won each time. He got poisoned oncr, but Polly had sn antidote.

At Mr. Pokemon's house, she retrieved the egg. Professor Oak decided to give her a Pokedex, despite Polly being a random little girl that he fidn't even know. After she left, Professor Elm called Polly in a panic. She and Toasty hurried back.

Outside Cherrygrove, Polly encountered a mysterious boy. They had a Pokemon battle, but Polly won easily and the boy left in s huff. At the lab, it turned out thst thr boy had stolen his Pokemon from Professor Elm. Polly identified the boy as Malcolm, then returned to her home to rest.
