Is anyone getting one of these? Which version are you getting? I haven't ordered one yet. I haven't decided. I need to read up more on the differences between the two.

Black/White? Good grief, we're running out of colors, I can tell...

I've stopped playing Pokemon. Largely because I started seeing it as a 'same game, different setting' scenario after a while.
Well, that and I stopped seeing the point to power-leveling some 500+ monsters to satisfy my obsessive-compulsive tendencies a while back...

White version for me.
They made a lot of new differences in Black White
Black Version: More Triple Battles, 8th Gym Leader is older man, post-elite four area is a city
White Version: More Rotation battles, 8th gym leader is Iris, Post-Elite four area is a forest
Both: You can challenge Cynthia from D/P/P in the post-game area.
Note: Rotation battle are, from what I can tell, a 1-on-1 version of a triple battle, in which you can substitute one of the three pokemon you choose freely WITHOUT wasting it's turn.
Both: Also, first gym leader can be one of three guys, it's always the one that has the type advantage over your starter.
You have two rivals, one that has type advantage over your starter (male), and one that has a type disadvantage over your starter (female). It does not change order if you start out as boy or girl.
Seasons actually change once every real world month. Was going to be once every four months but that was found ineffective, especially since there are special areas that can only be opened during certain seasons
wandering in red (or tall) wild grass can result in a double battle with wild pokemon.

I hadn't realized there were so many differences between the two versions. o.o I'd heard about the different gym leaders, but beyond that I had assumed the differences were the usual some Pokemon in one version, some in the other. Still have no idea which one I want. Maybe I'll just flip a coin.

Well, I ended up pre-ordering Pokemon White.
I kind of wish I'd chosen to take my time off from work the week the games came out. Oh well, XD

I got Pokemon Black today. I love that the game uses a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters for the Pokemon names. It always bugged me that I had an EMPOLEON and not an Empoleon.
Also, the game is awesome. Make sure to catch a few Elgyems so you can have the most adorable alien Pokemon ever.

Enjoying it so far. It's weird not encountering any familiar Pokemon though.

So, you're going to get yourself fired up? But, why didn't you just pre-order the game?
