I found Pokemon Colosseum to be a real mixed bag. The Stadium (now "Colossuem") mode was severely downgraded (No rental Pokemon! Only the Stadium mode and versus modes are still in there. The versus mode isn't even as fun IMO without the ability to use rentals.) but an RPG mode was added. You can use your RPG-mode Pokemon in the Colosseum mode, but those are still no rental Pokemon. =/ I personally loved the rental thing - you and your opponent having to pick from the hundred-or-so Pokemon that were all made to be fairly even in strength. The RPG mode is pretty fun and forces you to do nothing but double battles through the game. It's fun, but not as long as most Pokemon games. I wouldn't call it short, but it is shorter. =/
Overall, it's a decent game. It's a must-buy for any Pokemon fan, but I'd say its mediocre for newcomers to the series. The GBA games are better IMHO. =/

I've been feeling like playing Pokemon again lately. (gotta do something to pass the time till I get MFoMT)
I kinda feel like starting my old crytsal game over, but I dunno....I worked hard on that file, I don't wanna delete it. So, maybe Fire Red or Leaf Green.

I wonder why the name "Pokémon" is written the same way in French and English. The "é" is a french letter, so it's weird.. Its to show that its accented. Normally, in English you'd pronounce it Poke-mon (two syllables). By putting the accent mark over it, you know it has three syllables. ^_~ That's the idea behind it anyway.

I wonder why the name "Pokémon" is written the same way in French and English. The "é" is a french letter, so it's weird.. Thats not the way its used in spanish.... the "´" is used to eccentuate a particularly strong sylable. like: árbol So it makes perfect sense in spanish. ^-^ And I do'nt think the "´" is used in english. ^-^;
