When I turned on my gamecube this morning it said the disk wasn't in it...it was..I retryed several times, even vacuumed the side vents ( which Nintendo said you do) but it keeps saying "no disk"...HELP!

Have you tried with other games? Maybe the game's failiong and not the gamecube.
That or a little piece where you insert the disk isn't there anymore. Heck, I can't help you at all @_@

What about using one of the disks that are used for cleaning the laser head? Or using a tissue to clean the laser?

Maybe your GC is cursed...! We'll have to hire a Gypsy to break the curse! BorderWolf, Mom says she'll try the tissue.

No, NO, NOOOOO!!! Don't you people read the manual? >_< ;_; ANYTHING can scratch the laser! ANYTHING! That means, tissues, cuetips, etc... If your laser got scratched or something you guys will need to get a new one! You'll need to send it in to be repaired! And yeah I get the disc error thing too... But thats just because my gamecube likes to see me squirm... after I turn it on and off a few more times it ussually works.
And if anything you guys should have blown on the laser to get the dust off, NOTHING SHOULD COME INTO CONTACT WITH TEH LASER!!! >_< *head asplodes*
*Point of this post: Be cool, stay in school and Don't touch the laser, because if it gets scratched it won't be pretty.
