Does Dan really like Zoey, or is he just trying to get her to stay?
I have one minor annoyance...does anyone really say WTF in real life?

I say wtf xD and wtg for what the gay.. cause I'm special like that xD And you can find out about Dan when I do later chapters. Sorry for the delay.. Skeep's had some major problems going on, so she's gonna write what she can now, then most likely head off to sleep.
Chapter Onety-Two:
Gwen stared in horror as she saw Dan on the other side of the pond. The shocked look on his face matched her own. Once Gwen got over her surprise, she sighed. This would take some explaining. "Gwen..?" Dan asked. His raised eyebrow showed her he thought she was crazy. Great, blew it with Dan. She grumbled to herself. "I was d..d..dancing.." She said, finally getting the word out. "With the--" As she tried to remember to say Harvest Sprites instead of Power Puff Girls, she heard Carlos whisper to her some important information. "He can't see or hear us." The little sprite said. Carlos said it especially loud, but Gwen noticed he was right when Dan didn't react to the voice. "I.. ooh.. this is hard to explain." Gwen said, shaking her head.
Gwen got herself back over to the other side and tried to explain to Dan what she had been doing. Since he couldn't see or hear the harvest sprites, she had to make up something. Whether it was clever or just plain dumb, she had to come up with some story. "Well.. I was so upset.. that I was hallucinating.. um... hippos! Yeah.. hippos." She started, yelling at herself inside for what she just said. "And then.. they convinced me to dance with them. It helped me forget what I was going through, so I.. agreed." Gwen said, nodding. Dan's face changed from shocked to concerned. "You need to get back to the clinic if you're hallucinating." He said, putting his hand to her head to see if she had a fever.
Gwen shivered at his touch, his soft hand on her forhead. Gwen closed her eyes and thought of how she wanted it to be between them. Gwen had met Dan when they were little, and they became good friends, but Dan left, and Gwen moved. She guessed that Dan didn't recognize her now. She couldn't really expect him to. Back then, people called her Meg, which was her actual first name. When she moved here, she started using her middle name.
"You okay?" Dan asked, noticing she had closed her eyes now. Gwen opened her eyes, but bit her lip. No, she wasn't okay. People were leaving on her, she had been thinking about her parents, and she wanted to tell Dan that she loved him. "I.. no." Gwen said, her gaze going from his eyes to the ground. Gwen sat on the ground, and Dan sat next to her. From that moment on, the Gwen talked about what happened with her parents, then how Jamie left, and now how Zoey was going to leave.
It looked like Dan was going to say something when she mentioned Zoey, but since Gwen started to cry then, he instead let her rest her head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around her and gave her a comforting pat. "Shh.. Gwen.. It will be okay. I'm right here." Dan whispered. At those words, Gwen wanted to just shout that she loved him, and she almost did, but something stopped her. Something told her that now wasn't the right time. Gwen calmed herself down and finally lifted her head up off of his shoulder. "Thanks Dan." She whispered, whiping her eyes and standing up. "I want to go back to the clinic now."
The two walked down to the clinic together, and Lucana, who had been licking Gwen's hand the whole time, went right behind them. As they neared it, they saw three very worried people. Zoey, Martha, and Alex. Gwen was a bit surprised that Alex was concerned, but then she remembered how he was the doctor and how concerned he had been when her friend Bob ran off one time, not wanting help. Alex paced around the room until Bob realized his stupidity and went back to get patched up for his wound. Dan seemed to signal something to Zoey, but Gwen didn't really catch it. She just silently walked into the clinic, laying back down on her cot. Lucana jumped back into her position ontop of Gwen on the bed. Alex walked in and finally coaxed her to let him take her temperature, then she was left alone to think for a while.
Gwen started to feel a little bit of peace now, but it was soon interrupted. She heard Dan use a name for someone he never used for just any of his friends. It wasn't a huge difference from what he usually said, but it definitely had some importance in it. "Thanks alot, Dan." She heard a muffled voice say. "No problem, baby."

Note to Readers: I'll still be working on this, but I'm also writing a book at the moment, so my chapters will either be alot shorter or alot farther apart.

xD Yeah, I was thinking of having him be like Kai, but they don't really say that his personality is like that, so I'm just gonna have him be a good dude, but his kindness to Gwen accidentally led her on o=

It's gonna be called 'A Murder of Crows' ^^ Cause that sounds so cool. But I don't think I'm going to have a murder in it. Thinking about it. I should get started on the first chapter now oO; -opens up word-
My biggest problem is that I'm not quite sure if I want to continue with Accidental Love. The story got twisted around in my head and now it's not how it was supposed to be D=

Chapter Onety-Three: Out of the Blue
Gwen hadn't talked to Dan about what she heard him say, fearing what his reply would be. So many things were happening out of the blue. Out of the blue, Jamie disappeared. Out of the blue, her and Dan could never be together. She would now have to get over him. Was she going to be able to do that? "I still have some hope.. it was just a name. Maybe I'm overreacting." She whispered to herself. Gwen was about to add something when Alex walked in. "You're ready to go home now." He said, wanting to help her off the bed like he usually helped patients, but Lucana wouldn't let him near Gwen.
Gwen shoved Lucana off of her, in a loving way of course, and got up. She felt sort of weary, yet refreshed at the same time. She would finally be able to leave. Gwen did not like clinics, hospitals, doctors, nurses, anything of the sort. Alex himself probably wasn't that bad, but the two had never taken the time to get to know each other. But him as a doctor.. Gwen didn't want to be around long. "Thanks Alex." She said, reaching down and giving Lucana a reassuring pat, so the dog would know she didn't shove her off out of anger.
Alex nodded and opened his mouth, but then close it again. He waved with two fingers and then walked back into his office. Gwen cocked her head to the side a bit, but shrugged and walked out. When she thought about Alex and his hesitance, it made her worry. What if there was still something wrong, and he didn't want to tell her? What if he thought she wouldn't be able to handle it, so he would wait to tell her uncle? "What the heck." Gwen mumbled. She had never gotten worried about things like these. How weird things were these days.
After talking with the Mayor, she found out Jamie had only been there to help keep the village stable, and once he decided Zoey had things under control, he just left. Gwen had talked to Jamie only a few times, and each time he had been a jerk. "Guess it's not as upsetting now." She mumbled to herself, heading towards Zoey's farm. She was going to help her now that alot of things were thrust onto her shoulders.
Gwen showed up at the farm, and the two started working. Gwen stayed closer to the farm, hoping to be able to spend time with Chica. Every once in a while she would walk in and pet Chica, then returning to help Zoey outside. "So how are you feeling?" Zoey asked Gwen. "I'm fine, Z, fine." She said quietly. Gwen was just a bit tired from laying down for the past few days. She needed her exercize. "What about you?" Gwen asked. Zoey's face brightened, and she blushed. "Well.. Dan asked me out." The farmer said quietly.
Gwen stopped herself from pausing in her work, but her heart raced and she had a lump in her throat. She had been right. That was Z outside when she heard Dan call someone Baby. "Oh." She whispered, for that was all she could get out. "I'm gonna go check on Chica again." She said, putting down the bag of seeds Zoey had given her to plant and heading into the barn. She walked over to Chica's stall and hopped over the half-door, wrapping her arms around the black horse's neck. "What am I going to do?" She whispered. How Gwen had even fallen for Dan, she didn't know. He didn't even seem her 'type', as some may say. But now.. Out of the Blue, things had gone wrong once more.
