Here is the next chapter! I hope you like it! But there is a bit of a cliff hanger or "blue hanger" lol.
Chapter twelve: Clinic stay
Eve heard rain splattering against the windows. She opened her eyes and looked around. She was in a room that was all white, curtains were separating it from the other rooms. Where was she? Eve tried to recall last night, and she remembered being on the mountain with Blue. She was at the clinic.
Eve looked outside. It was raining. The weather matched her mood. She didn’t want to go home. She knew she’d have to face her Uncle, and her sick grandfather. Eve didn’t want to see him in bed. It was too painful... Eve closed her eyes, trying to imagine that none of this was really happening... But she couldn’t because it was happening. A few moments later, Alex, the doctor, walked in. “Oh good! You’re awake!” he said happily. Eve smiled weakly “Now, just let me examine you, and you can rest some more.” Eve nodded bleakly.
After two days of doing absolutely nothing, Eve was ready to go home. But not according to Alex. “You still have a little fever and you’re foot is still infected. You can leave in a few more days.” He had said. Now Eve lay on her bed, bored stiff. That night Eve heard a knock on the clinic door. Eve knew that Alex and the nurse, Martha, were asleep by now, so she decided to answer it herself. Eve limped over to the door and opened it. “Eve?!” “Blue?!” Eve stood in the doorway shocked, but she couldn’t help from wrapping her arms around him, pulling him into a hug. “Oh Blue. It fells like I haven’t seen you forever! Where have you been?” she said. “I’ve been around. I haven’t forgotten you Eve. I never would.” Blue said quietly. Eve looked up and smiled at him. “Thanks.” Blue picked her up and placed her on a bed then Eve started to look at him seriously. “What happened that night when you saved me?” she asked. Blue paused then started, “Well, I guess I fainted when I brought you to the clinic, and then I woke up here. Alex said I could leave, because I had only fainted from exhaustion, and I was going to tell you...but you were asleep.” Blue looked down at his hands. Eve tried to find some emotion in his eyes, but she couldn’t. “Blue...” she started asking the question she feared most. “Is-is my grandpa okay?” He suddenly looked up. There was fear in his eyes but he just said: “Yeah...” Eve hugged him and he told her to rest some more.
When Blue was sure Eve was asleep, he ran to the back of the clinic. “Alex!” he yelled. “It’s...Terry.”

Chapter twelve: Never Gone
As Blue waited for Alex to come back from checking up on Terry, he wondered what he had done. He knew it had to be wrong, but he didn’t know how... Then he remembered Eve’s words: “Can I trust you?” Now he knew she couldn’t he had lied to her. But he had just been trying to protect her... Alex came into the front of the bar. Blue stood up. “Is...is he getting any better?” Blue asked timidly. Alex shook his head sadly. “Terry is getting old...there really isn’t anything I can do for now... I guess we just have to wait and see...” Blue nodded gravely and followed Alex out of the bar. When they went they’re separate ways, Blue headed for the river. He sat down at the same place he had talked to Eve, only a few days ago. The sweet fall breeze blew in his face. He looked up at the stars. “Please forgive me, Eve,” he said to the sky. “I love you...”
***** Eve was happy to be heading home. After ten days in the clinic, she had gotten terribly bored. The only people that had visited her were, Blue and her Uncle. Eve realized that she really didn’t have many friends here in Flower Bud village, but it had only been two seasons... The moment Eve walked in the door to her home, she was greeted by a friendly hug from her Uncle. “I was worried, Eve.” He said. “And of course I had missed you.” Eve smiled sweetly at her Uncle. “So what did I miss?” she asked curiously. They talked for a long time and when they were finally done Eve asked: “How’s...how’s Grandpa?” She expected Duke’s expression to change form happy to sad or shocked, but it didn’t. His face was blank when she asked him the dreadful question, and he looked like he was fine with the fact that his own father may be dying this very moment. Then Eve thought of what Blue had said. Was her grandfather fine and Blue had been telling the truth? Duke finally spoke. “Would you see him?” he asked.
Eve walked into the back bed room where Terry was. He looked pale and tired and Eve wasn’t sure if she could stand to talk to him, like he was completely fine. But when he saw her, his face lit up, almost enough to make him seem like he wasn’t sick at all. “Eve! I’m glad to see you’re home. It’s been lonely without you.” He said happily. Eve forced a smile. Her grandfather patted the bed motioning her to come sit next to him. She did, and suddenly started telling him all about what had been happening. She told him about her affair with Dan and Jack, she told him about Blue, she told him about the clinic, she told her grandfather everything. It was automatic. She always told him everything. She knew she may not be able to trust Jack and Dan, but she could trust him definitely. When Eve had finished she looked Terry straight in the eyes and then said: “Grandpa? Are...are you going to leave me?” she thought she sounded like a child, but she couldn’t help it. He smiled at her. “Eve, I wont leave you if you don’t want me too. If you don’t want me to then I will always stay with you. Eve broke into a fit of tears.
Two nights later, Eve stared at her calendar. Yesterday was Winter first. Winter first, her parents disappeared. Winter first, her grandfather died.

It is sad isn't it? Guess what? I had the time to do two chapters at once! I hope everyone enjoys! Chapter thirteen: DreamBlue was going to the Square for Terry’s funeral. He was usually didn’t go to funerals since he turned queasy since the last one he went to. Blue had to keep telling himself he was doing it for Eve. The mayor said some nice words, and everyone left to celebrate Terry’s life at the bar. Blue was just heading over there, when he saw Eve sitting by the river. “Is this your favorite spot to sit and cry?” Blue asked jokingly. Eve ignored his remark. “I can’t believe he just left like that.” She sobbed. “He would’ve eventually.” Blue said ‘matter of factly’. “Why does everyone leave me?” Eve asked miserably. “My parents and Grandpa. Why do they just leave and think that I won’t care? I do care! I have a life too!” Eve had gotten rid of her sadness and was now angry. “No one cares about me!” she screamed. Blue looked at his hands. “I care.” he said quietly. Eve looked down at him. “Really?” she asked. Now she was mellow, like the crying and screaming had never happened. “Thank you.” she said. Eve looked into the water. “Aren’t the fish peaceful?” she asked. Blue also looked into the water. He nodded. “Yah, they are.” “Do you ever wonder where you’re parents are?” Eve asked. “Sometimes I wonder why they just left me. Why would someone do that?” Blue could see tears form in her eyes. Then she suddenly looked up at Blue. “What happened to your family?” Eve asked. Blue shook his head and got up. “Shouldn’t we go in?” Blue asked. Eve looked up at him. “I guess...” she said. She followed Blue in the bar. When he walked in, a rabbit hopping by stopped at her feet. It looked at her curiously. She pat it on the head. “Grandpa would have wanted me to protect it.” she thought happily. Then she remembered his words: “I won’t leave if you don’t want me to.” “I’ll never want him to leave.” she thought. So then he never would. Blue heard some one call his name. He walked toward the voice. They were still calling his name, but the voice kept getting farther! “Who is that?” Blue thought angrily. Suddenly, he heard a crash. What was that? There was suddenly an ear piercing scream. Blue looked at his feet. He ran away at what he saw. Where was he going? He didn’t know. Blue kept running and running, when he heard the person calling his name again. Blue felt like he was trapped inside a nightmare...He suddenly was sitting up in bed. He was sweaty all over. Ellen, Blue’s cousin, walked in. “Blue? What’s going on? I heard you-“ “Nothing!” Blue yelled at her. “Ok...”she said, leaving. Blue lay back down in bed. It had been forever since he had had a dream about...then. What was going on? Blue looked at the ceiling. His past was coming back...

Chapter fourteen: Spring Flowers
Eve breathed in the sweet scent of Spring. Finally, the long season of winter was over. She sat down by the river, her favorite spot, but now she wasn’t crying. Someone sat next to her. She turned and saw Gwen! Gwen looked up suddenly. “Oh...hi, Eve.” she said shyly. Eve just smiled and continued looking in the water. “Listen, Eve, I think we got off with a bad start. I mean that whole thing with Dan, I swear I didn’t know you liked him! I never would’ve hurt you on purpose!” Gwen confessed. “Please forgive me.” “It’s OK Gwen. I never should’ve blamed you in the first place.” Eve said sweetly. Gwen smiled. “Thanks.” she said. “So are we pals now?” Eve smiled. “Sure!” she said, and they both started laughing.
Eve sat in bed staring at the ceiling. She didn’t have many friends yet. She counted them. 1. Blue 2. Gwen Not many at all. But Eve was happy with Blue and Gwen. They were nice, and she could tell that Blue was becoming more then a friend. But Eve was pretty sure she could trust Blue now. And Gwen was also growing on her. Today, they had talked about what had been going on with each other, and then headed over to the Inn and had some of Gwen’s delicious cooking. Eve didn’t need many friends to be happy...
Blue breathed in the spring air. It smelled good. He enjoyed taking care of the animals outside. He heard someone walk up to the fence. It was Eve. She smiled. “Hi Blue!” she said cheerfully. She was wearing Blue jeans and a lime green shirt. Blue had never seen Eve wear anything but dresses, so she looked new to him. “Like my outfit?” she asked, noticing him looking at it. Blue blushed, and nodded. Eve giggled “It really is a beautiful day isn’t it?” she asked. Blue looked at her, puzzled. “What’s with the change of attitude?” he asked. “What do you mean?!” Eve said looking a bit offended. “Well normally you like rainy days, and you never wear jeans!” Blue said. “Is it bad if I have a change of attitude?” She said forcefully. “N-no...” Blue looked kind of scared. “Good!” Eve finished. “Anyway, I was just stopping by, and I hope you have a nice day!” “Eve wait!” Blue called, but she just ignored him. Blue rolled his eyes. “Women.” he mumbled.
Eve walked into the Inn. She was visiting Gwen, before she had to start working. When she walked in, she saw Bob, the guy who took the shipments, and Gwen talking. Gwen looked completely normal, but Bob looked as nervous as ever. Eve didn’t want to interfere, so she tried to sneak out before Gwen could see her. Unfortunately, Gwen did see Eve, and motioned for her to come over. “Bob, have you met Eve?” Gwen asked. “Yah, we’ve met. I should go now-“ Eve was cut off By Bob who said: “I’ll see you guys later.” and left. Eve turned around and glared at Gwen. “Why’d you make me come over here?” she asked. “What do you mean?” “I mean, you and him could’ve had a nice little talk if I hadn’t made him leave!” “You? He was going to leave whether you came over or not!”. “Ok...sure! Be stubborn like that! But everyone knows Bob likes you!” “WHAT?!” Eve smiled sweetly at Gwen. “You know it’s true!” Gwen rolled her eyes.
“So how’s Blue?” Gwen asked, after a while. They were sitting in the kitchen, and Eve was watching Gwen cook. “Blue? Oh I don’t know. He’s been acting strange lately...” Eve replied remembering the day he avoided her question: “What happened to your parents?” Eve still thought about it... “Sometimes I wonder if he doesn’t trust me...” said Eve sadly. “Doesn’t trust you? How?” Gwen looked at Eve with concern in her eyes. “Well, he never talks about his family...” said Eve. “Maybe it’s personal?” Gwen suggested. “Yah... maybe but I told him about mine! How can I trust him if he can’t trust me?” Eve said angrily, her voice rising. “Maybe you should talk to him about it.” Gwen said going back to her Cheese Fondue. Eve nodded and got up to leave. “But Eve-" Gwen started, but Eve had already walked out the door.
